Steps to prepare Pan-Fried Chicken
-
First step
To make a mouth-watering Joojeh Kebab, start by washing and draining the chicken breasts. Cut them into medium-sized pieces, keeping in mind the size of your pan.
-
Second step
For a saffron-infused Joojeh Kebab, mix the saffron with the meat in a separate bowl and refrigerate for about 15-30 minutes. Then, add 1 tablespoon of liquid oil to the chicken and mix well.
Tip: You can also make Joojeh Kebab without any additional seasoning. Adding ingredients is optional.
-
Third step
Add salt and black pepper to the ingredients in the bowl and mix well. Then, transfer the mixture to the pan. It is best to use a cast iron or Teflon pan to avoid sticking.
-
Fourth step
Place the pan on low heat and add some liquid oil to heat it up. Arrange the meat in the pan and cover with a lid to allow the Joojeh Kebab to cook evenly.
Tip: You can use a wooden skewer to grill the chicken. Cut the skewers to the size of the pan.
-
Fifth step
Continue grilling the Joojeh Kebab by turning the chicken every few minutes to ensure even cooking. Turn the chicken over and cover the pan again.
-
Sixth step
As the chicken is cooking, add butter to the pan and, if desired, a spoonful of saffron. Fry the chicken in butter and saffron until crispy and delicious.
-
Seventh step
Finally, cut the tomatoes and bell peppers into rings and prepare another pan to roast them. You can even fry them alongside the grilled chicken. This is one way to make a delicious, pan-roasted Joojeh Kebab. Enjoy your meal!
Note: You can adjust the seasoning to your liking.
The technique of preparing charcoal and pan grilled Joojeh Kebab
- Before using wooden skewers, soak them in cold water for 20 minutes.
- If you let the seasoned chicken marinate in the refrigerator for 12 hours, the flavor will be enhanced.
- Consider using a grill pan that does not require oil.
- Be mindful of using too much lemon juice as it can make the chicken meat tough. It’s best to add lemon juice at the end of the cooking process.
- To infuse the meat with saffron flavor, mix it with the meat and let it sit in the refrigerator for 30 minutes before cooking to ensure the taste doesn’t fade away.
Finally, it’s worth mentioning that not only is Joojeh Kebab easy to prepare, but there are also many ways to make it. You can customize the recipe to your personal taste and enjoy a new flavor each time. If you have a different recipe or know of any tips to enhance the flavor of the chicken, please leave a comment.
