
Saman Golriz was born in Ahvaz in 1977. He lived in Khuzestan for three years after the war, and then migrated to Tehran. He completed his higher education in photography, then entered the hotel management field and specialized in international cuisine from Starklyde University. Saman Golriz has been married for 7 years and has two daughters, 3 and 6 years old.
Saman Golriz has been teaching cooking on television for 20 years. He says he loves cooking, especially Iranian cooking, because Iranian food is a kind of medicine, and each of them has its own identity and there is an ancient culture behind each of them.
Saman Golriz graduated with honors from the Young Cinema Association in photography and graduated from Starklyde University in culinary arts. Saman Golriz’s activities include launching the restaurants Gipa (the first classic food restaurant in the world), Coriander and Rosemary, as well as launching the first modern fast food restaurant in Narenjestan Hotel Shomal and the largest fast food in Isfahan called Tin, as well as launching the classic coffee shop Keshmeh, the most successful takeaway food unit called Plak, and the most modern ice cream and coffee shop in the past ten years called Harp.
Saman Golriz also owns three restaurants, Jiro, Wafi, and Lester, which are very successful financially. Saman Golriz is also the designer and builder of Iran’s first food court. His professional background includes teaching cooking on television for sixteen years and teaching modern cooking and nutrition through the radio. Everyone knows Saman Golriz. He is the host of the cooking program “Bahooneh”. The first man to appear on national media and start teaching cooking with that warm smile, and now his fame is no less, if not greater, than that of famous actors and footballers.
